Natalie Pepper

Natalie Gold Pepper has been in roles throughout her life that involved teaching and helping people. She learned that her real love was working with people to help them discover their natural talents and find jobs and career satisfaction–which she has been doing for the past 21 years at The Highlands Company.

How Did You Start Using Your Talents?

Although an introvert from an early age, Natalie got actively involved in student organizations in high school. Her earliest jobs, whether in classrooms or in meeting halls of a federal agency, placed her in front of audiences, where she connected by teaching and engaging her listeners.

The Most Impactful Turning Point?

Re-entering the job market after raising her children, Natalie quickly found herself in personnel work, “I loved helping people see what they needed to know and do to grow in their careers, especially those with qualifications who didn’t quite know how to talk about themselves. I also learned about many career options.”

Facebook and email allow Natalie to use her love of letter writing and communicating with clients, friends and family. “I don’t usually post anything, but I love to read what’s happening in other people’s lives.” I love using humor in my work. It’s enlightening and makes my whole day better.
